Welcome to the Family.
Heritage Farms
In 1901, James Reilly “Jim” Paul set out to secure a 40 acre homestead in what was referred to as Holmes, FL. In 1906, he successfully earned his homestead and secured the wild-acreage as home for he and his seven children. Fast forward five generations and 40 acres has blossomed into 1300 acres full of creeks, rivers, Loblolly pines and hundreds of pecan trees, all still owned by the same family.
While marriages have taken the name from Paul to Paulk to Hatcher, the great granddaughter of Jim Paul now mans the helm of Heritage Farms. Rachel Hatcher has dedicated her life and livelihood to preserving her family heritage, and has poured herself into the hundred acres of pecan trees planted by she and her father. For the past forty years, she has given her all to understanding pecan farming in an effort to produce the highest quality pecans in the Southern United States.
Accompanied by her husband, Donald, and son, Reid, the Hatchers have endeavored to bring their pecans to the greater community.
This is our story, and we are honored you’re here.
“We believe in the importance of giving back to our land. When we consistently pour into our environment, our land, it gives back to us. Our goal is to bring this mentality to our consumers, and to educate them about the foods they choose to consume. We want to bring the highest quality products to people while showcasing the farm that produced it.”-Rachel Hatcher, Owner and Operator
